About the client

The client is a 120 years old beverage bottler headquarterd in Alabama. They are the third largest bottler of the world’s largest beverage company.  Their 10,000+ associates located across the southeast are engaged in the production, marketing, sales and distribution of some of the world’s most refreshing and recognized beverages.

The Challenge

The bottler had SAP as their main database holding customer’s and equipment’s records. The previous web-based Onboarding application had no API integration to SAP and had multiple performance issues due to technical debt, manual employee data entry and less functionality to cover all their onboarding requirements. The previous application had only four modules (New DSD Customer, New FSV Customer, Customer Equipment Changes and Customer Data Changes) which were not enough to entertain the demands of onboarding. The old Onboarding application, built on HTML with a SQL backend, was costly to maintain as well.

These problems were affecting the bottler’s credibility along with their ability to fulfil demands faster.

At that moment the bottler reached out to CoreFlex Solutions who has also been working with a few other bottlers of the bevearge major  to assess their situation and come up with solution to take them out of it.

Our Solution

After an initial look of the bottler’s Onboarding ecosystem, CoreFlex solutions found that the bottler needed a new Onboarding application as front end to streamline the on-boarding process of their customers and equipment, utilizing the Salesforce platform. The CoreFlex team converted the old application into LWC (Lightning Web Components) and built eight production modules with enhanced functionalities than before. We integrated the new Onboarding application with SAP to enable seamless flow of data between the database and front end.

CoreFlex Solutions Team built an On-boarding application for the bottler on LWC (Lightning Web Components) technology from Salesforce.
