Job summary:

    The role involves providing expertise in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) for deployment, support, and upgrade projects. The individual will work closely with clients to understand their functional needs, translate these into appropriate SAP solutions, and ensure the effective configuration and deployment of SAP modules. The role also requires supporting the testing, quality assurance, and documentation processes, while maintaining strong client relations and offering insights into industry trends.

    Job Description

    • Assist clients in defining their needs and guide them to the appropriate SAP modules and functionalities.
    • Conceptualize functional analyses and model business processes in alignment with project objectives.
    • Ensuring a cross-sectional view of the client’s functional needs.
    • Ensure the correlation between the development of solutions and the functional needs of the client.
    • Perform the configuration of modules according to the business needs of the clients.
    • Provide technical and functional support during deployment phases.
    • Develop and provide leadership during testing and quality assurance phases
    • Maintain technical documentation and transfer knowledge.
    • Act as a consultant in their area of expertise and represent their department when
      interfacing with decision-making and technical bodies.
    • Provide a monitoring role in order to understand and anticipate trends in their area of
      expertise, and make appropriate recommendations in terms of developing best practices
      for the company.

    Technical Skills:

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP
    • PM deployment, support, or upgrade projects.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in SAP configuration.
    • Familiarity with SAP Logistics modules, including SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP SD-MM.
    • Knowledge of procurement, pricing, purchase orders, pricing schemes, basic transactions, flows, and integration points.
    • Extensive knowledge of RICEF and debugging.
    • Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.

    Non-Technical Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal communication and user support management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to make quality decisions.
    • Proficient in English communication.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Engineering/Science
